Community sustainable initiatives inspire “green” innovation which, encourages community engagement and continued participation. The Digging-iT Project objective is to renovate the historical Zverina Log House, on a quarter of an acre, into purposeful green space. In documenting this process a new media approach involves digital practices, that are based on programming digital and bio-technological art. During the development of the documentary, the students of Washington Park Environmental Academy observe fluid positions and unstable boundaries in nature.
